Event Details

Admit it: if the world is going to hell, you want to get there with a song on your lips and some interesting thoughts in your head. Welcome to the Apocalypse Cabaret!

Sing along and thrill to strange stories as Benjamin Wachs hosts a show for the end of the world!

See if reporter Joe Eskenazi can explain San Francisco city hall corruption in five minutes or less! Watch Bay Area somatic educator and sensuality expert Alexandria Nichandros demonstrate non-verbal dominance in a spontaneous scene! Revive your spirit as the world ends!

Benjamin Wachs is frequently accused of being a fictional character. After living in a Buddhist monastery in India, he was employed as a nightlife reporter for Playboy.com and the bar columnist for SF Weekly. Writing as Caveat Magister, he became a founding member of Burning Man’s Philosophical Center, and later Burning Man’s Philosopher Laureate.
He is the author of five books of fiction and counter-cultural philosophy, most recently: Turn Your Life Into Art: lessons in psychomagic from San Francisco’s underground.
His business cards say “Fascinating Stranger.”
