Event Details

Would you be caught dead in that outfit? A multimedia event celebrating the aesthetics of ’80s and ’90s underground clubbing by pájaros, maricones, mariposas, mariquitas and those who love them.

Curated by artists Juliana Delgado Lopera & Rebeka Rodriguez in collaboration with Aunt Lute Books, this 1980s Latinx fashion extravaganza will include:

  • A runway featuring you – fabulous young and elder queers
  • A kiki panel on the resiliency of people living and performing on 16th street in the 80s and 90s
  • A cute and cuir photo booth
  • Drag show and more. Bring your best looks for a chance to win some fabulous prizes (glamorous books)
