Artgasm: Community Drink n’ Draw | NoPa

If you like art, and like to make it, then you’ll probably love Big Umbrella’s bi-weekly “Artgasm” – a community drink n’ draw night

Basically, artists of all skill levels (we get a range of professional artists to students to complete beginners) who come by and bring their own art supplies and their own refreshments and everyone hangs out and creates. Sometimes people bring snacks to share, or will split a 6-pack with people – sharing is caring, but it not necessary

Artgasm is a BYOA+R, meaning “bring your own art supplies + refreshments,” we just provide the tables, stools/chairs, and a chill atmosphere and welcoming host. We also usually have some fun drawing games to play to loosen you up and helps you get to know your fellow artists (you can always opt out or just work on your own stuff if you’re not feeling up to it).

The details:
Artgasm happens every 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at Big Umbrella Studios from 7:30-10pm. It’s totally free, but you have to bring your own art supplies, refreshments, and a willingness to meet new people and have a good time making art.
