“Four Artists Talk” Documenting Hunters Point Shipyard (SF)

The art exhibit “Echoes of Parcel G” was created in response to the beginning of the wholesale demolition of buildings at the historic Hunters Point Shipyard.

It starts with six buildings on a section of the Shipyard called Parcel G. Eventually even most of the artist building are scheduled to be torn down to make room for redevelopment. The artists are fighting to retain their and several other character-enhancing buildings.
