Join the South San Francisco Public Library for an afternoon with author and historian Nicholas A. Veronico as he talks about his most recent book, Hidden Warships: Finding World War II’s Abandoned, Sunk, and Preserved Warships. Hidden Warships chronicles shipwrecks beginning with the Japanese submarines that attacked Pearl Harbor and continues through the modern age. Entries for each vessel include photographs, ship specifications, location of the wreck, and more. Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at South San Francisco Main Library.
