Gustafer Yellowgold & Jose-Luis Orozco | 2014 Performing Arts Festival | SF Public Library

Join up for an afternoon of multicultural family music by two award-winning performers, Gustafer Yellowgold and José-Luis Orozco.

2:30 pm: The Gustafer Yellowgold Show
Hailed by The New York Times as a “cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss,” The Gustafer Yellowgold Show is a must-see for families who love groovin’ and boppin’ together. The library is tickled pink, um yellow, to welcome back Morgan Taylor, the award-winning cartoonist, songwriter, and creator of Gustafer Yellowgold for more live music, animated illustrations, and storytelling.

3:30 pm: Jose-Luis Orozco
Come sing with the beloved bilingual recording artist, educator and children’s author José-Luis Orozco. Children and families will sing and dance to Jose-Luis’ Spanish and English music rooted in Latin American culture. His music combines rhymes, movements, and rhythm with information, such as the alphabet, vowels, numbers, and colors. It’s a delight for the entire family.
