Awesöme Orchestra | Epic Free Classical Concerts
Awesöme Orchestra brings people together for musical adventures. Their free sessions are part performance, part open rehearsal. They provide the sheet music, and anyone is welcome to play or to listen.
The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship. Their events are always free, but they ask for a pay-what-you-will donation to help cover basic costs.
How can Awesöme Orchestra possibly top their first ever Flash Mob at Frank Ogawa Plaza? By holding an Epic, Awesöme Orchestra Lock-in and All-night Marathon Session at Fantasy Studios, of course, happening on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 7 pm until the last musician stops playing.
To participate, sign up on the new Google Form. Bring music stands. They have chairs and there will be free beer from Lagunitas and people will be chipping in to order pizzas and other food through the night.
