Awesöme Orchestra | Epic Free Classical Concerts

Awesöme Orchestra brings people together for musical adventures. Their free sessions are part performance, part open rehearsal. They provide the sheet music, and anyone is welcome to play or to listen.

The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship. Their events are always free, but they ask for a pay-what-you-will donation to help cover basic costs.

Join on February 23 at Sports Basement in Berkeley from 2-5pm for Session 63 where we’ll be celebrating Black History Month with a session of orchestral music by black composers such as William Grant Still, Florence Price, and more.

Musician sign-ups begin February 4.
