Bison Naming Contest: Golden Gate Park | SF

Seven young female bison have just joined the herd at the popular Bison Paddock in Golden Gate Park on December 6th and today’s the perfect day to go meet them. Update: New Baby Bison for the public just yet… , the young bison won’t be appearing in the main pen until early 2012 while they get acclimated the their new home [sfist].

Want to name the new Bison? While they get accustomed to their new surroundings over the next few months, the SF Recreation and Park Department and San Francisco Zoo are sponsoring a naming contest for one of their new friends.
