This year there will be three outstanding mountain films showing on February 21 and 22 at Wheeler Hall on the UC Berkeley Campus. You can view the trailer to this year’s films here.
Since 1976, the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, a flagship program of Banff Centre, has been an industry leader in the celebration of Mountain Culture. The festival promotes understanding and appreciation of the world’s mountain places by creating opportunities for people to share and find inspiration in mountain experiences, ideas, and visions. Following the festival each fall, the annual World Tour reaches more than 40 countries on 7 continents, the largest adventure film tour on the planet.
All proceeds from this event go directly into the scholarship fund for affording students the opportunity to connect to new places, new activities, new friends, and themselves, in meaningful shared experiences.
