Event Details

Filmed in 25 countries on 6 continents, the film brings together a series of stunningly photographed scenes to capture what director Ron Fricke calls “a guided meditation on humanity.” Producer Mark Magidson explains “The goal of the film was to reach past language, nationality, religion, and politics and speak to the inner viewer.” In addition to the film screening, the evening will feature a brief presentation of Danza Azteca (Mexica) by In Xochitl in Cuicatl of Berkeley, refreshments, and discussion. The event is free and open to the public, and donations are gratefully appreciated. The film is 97 minutes long and Not Rated.

OACC is wheelchair accessible and easily accessible by BART, AC Transit, and freeways. Street parking is available, as well directly beneath the venue in the Pacific Renaissance Plaza Garage at $2 flat rate 5p-midnight.
