Creating one of the most timely and musically relevant performing initiatives among conservatories in America, SFCM reimagines “historical performance.” Two concerts in November display the varied traditions of musical performance from multiple periods: one is an all-Mozart showcase of early arias accompanied by SFCM piano students on fortepiano and the other, string concertos by Vivaldi and others on period instruments.
