“BART Mart” Anime Artist Alley Pop-Up (Castro Valley BART)

BART MART 3 brings an anime-themed artist alley to Castro Valley BART Station, featuring dozens of artists selling anime, comics, and gaming-inspired merchandise. The event is free to attend and is part of the BART Anime Project’s celebration of ACGN (anime, comics, gaming, novel) culture. Artist alley applications are open for approximately 100 artists. Additional event details and exclusive merch will be announced soon.

_Big news!!! We have two BART anime events coming up.
1. BART MART 3 is coming to Castro Valley BART Station Thursday June 11.
2. Let’s Glow! BART Anime Festival returns to Warm Springs/South Fremont Station on September 19, 2026, 4pm to 9pm, for a celebration of anime, comics, gaming, and novel (ACGN) culture.
We’ll announce more details on cosplay, itashas, freebie trading, stamps, exclusive merch, a detailed schedule, and more in the next few months!
In the meantime, BART is looking for artists, fan clubs, and food/boba trucks to join us at the event. Artist alley applications are open now at the link in bio or BART.gov/letsglow! We have spots for ~100 artists. Applications close June 1.
