Bayview/KC Jones Playground Officially Reopens on January 22
Join us for a community celebration marking the completion of recent improvements at Bayview/KC Jones Playground, Saturday, January 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (3rd St. and Armstrong). The day’s activities will include brief remarks and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m.; free swimming at nearby MLK Pool beginning at 2:30 p.m.; a baseball exhibition at 3:15 p.m.; and a city job fair throughout the day. The renovation project was made possible by grants from the the Public Health Foundation; the Community Opportunity Fund of the city’s parks bonds; and Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership funds (California State Parks).
