Move the planet by moving with thousands in a parade and rally calling for solutions to climate change.
This parade is the flagship of over 2,000 events happening worldwide on Saturday, September 24. Bay area organization leaders, including 350.org Bill McKibben and Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune, have joined to promote the capitalization of Sustainable Communities Strategy to end fossil fuel dependence, create healthy communities and clean regional air.
San Franciscan personalities in costumes with puppets, props, and colorful banners will start to parade from Justin Hermann Plaza at noon and end at the Civic Center for a rally from 1p-4p.
