Bay Day is like Earth Day – but just for the San Francisco Bay. It is one official day every year for the entire Bay Area to come together and celebrate The Bay.
Beginning with 7 counties officially declaring Bay Day as an annual holiday, the festivity now encompases all 9 counties of the Bay Area. Throughout these counties, various organizations and businesses have planned different recreational, educational, and restoration events. These events bring awareness to the threats posed by pollution and climate change while also creating an engaging environment focused on celebrating our bay.
Our signature events combine fun and cause-worthy activities into lively bay-side celebrations. Whether it’s an all-day festival at RestorationFest, a trash collection cleanup at ShoreFest or a waterfront adventure at PortFest, you’ll find something the whole family will love.
