40th Annual San Francisco Fleet Week
October 4 – 13, 2020 | 8 am
The 39th Annual San Francisco Fleet Week – San Francisco’s largest annual civic sponsored event. San Francisco Fleet Week is a series of free, family-friendly events that honor the contributions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces while advancing cooperation and knowledge among civilian- and military-based Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response personnel.
Air Show & Blue Angels – Oct 9-11, 2020
Taking place over three consecutive days, this event attracts over a million people every year. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels put on a breathtaking display, while on the ground visitors enjoy a family-friendly festival featuring the Fleet Week Humanitarian Village and STEM Education Center. The show is located on Marina Green at the Fleet Week Festival Center.

Parade of Ships – Fleet Week 2020 Dates TBA
Come see “The Fleet” enter the San Francisco Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge as visiting ships steam towards the Port of SF. San Francisco Fleet Week hosts the largest parade of ships on the West Coast.
Historically, ships visiting Fleet Week are led by the San Francisco Fire Department’s fire boat, and are followed by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and this year, we welcome the Royal Australian Navy.
Update for 2020: Due to the U.S. Navy’s current operational security posture, we cannot confirm the names of ships participating in the 2019 San Francisco Fleet Week until the ships are pier-side. Thank you for your understanding, and visit this page as Fleet Week starts to see the ships participating.
Ship Tours – 2020 Dates TBA
Throughout Fleet Week, thousands of visitors climb aboard amphibious carriers, destroyers and cruisers docked at the Embarcadero to get a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of the sailors serving in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Australian Navy.

- All ship tours are free of charge and queue forms on a first come, first served basis.
- Due to safety considerations, no children under the age of 7 are allowed on ship tours.

Bark in the Park “K9 Heroes” – 2020 Dates TBA
Join for a free event which honors the K-9 Heroes and their human friends during San Francisco Fleet Week 2019.
K-9 Heroes Bark at the Park is brought to you by the San Francisco Fleet Week Association and the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.
High School Band Challenge – 2020 Dates TBA
The United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Division Band kicks off this event with a stirring performance of patriotic songs and a musical celebration. The thrill of the music continues as select Bay Area high school bands then take the stage, competing for prize money to support their school music programs. (High School Performing Schedule TBA)
The Humanitarian Assistance Village – Oct 9-11, 2020
The Humanitarian Assistance Village (HAV) is an interactive exhibition demonstrating U.S. Military and Civilian capabilities in responding to a disaster.
The STEM Education Center Presented by Verizon is an integrated program designed to inspire our youth in the fields of science and technology. Take your family around the village for a wonderful educational opportunity while enjoying the San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show presented by United Airlines.
Neighborhood Free Concerts – 2020 Dates TBA
The participation of the Navy and Marine Corps bands each year as part of San Francisco Fleet Week. We are also incredibly proud of Fleet Week’s Neighborhood Concert Program, which gives San Franciscans a chance to interact with our inspiring service men and women through performances in different neighborhoods throughout San Francisco.
