Come to the Bayview Opera House for an Earth Day celebration with a BBQ, live music, an Afro-Peruvian dance performance, games and gardening activities on April 20, 2013.

Chef Eskender Aseged of Radio Africa & Kitchen will bring out the BBQ and cook affordable meals right across the street from his restaurant on Mendell Plaza. BBQ food is $5, and hibiscus lemonade is $2 ($1 if you bring your own cup).

All activities are free and include:

  • gardening and planting activities
