Berkeley’s Spring Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza (2022)

Join the City of Berkeley for two spring egg hunt events: a nighttime egg hunt for pre-teens and young teens or a morning egg hunt and carnival for younger kids, including a petting zoo and crafts!

Fire up your flashlights for the after dark glow-in-the-dark egg hunt Friday, April 15 for 5th – 8th graders with a chance to win a grand prize of a Nintendo Switch.

We’ll also have egg hunts on Saturday, April 16 morning, with separate events for kids one to ten years old. Youth 11 years old and up can participate in a fun scavenger hunt for prizes throughout the event.

Friday Glow-in-the-dark flashlight egg hunt for teens
Kids in 5th through 8th grade will have a chance to win great prizes, including the grand prize, a Nintendo Switch.

Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza, Saturday, April 16
The Saturday morning egg hunt for little ones will feature a petting zoo, a visit with the Spring Bunny, spring-themed crafts, an interactive kid’s carnival with prizes, and bunny hop dance lessons! Kids will receive a basket to collect all their spring goodies.

Egg Hunt: Ages 1 – 10 years
Scavenger hunt for prizes: Ages 11 and up

The Egg Hunt will be divided into 20-minute increments starting at 10:00 am. Arrive 30 minutes ahead of time for same-day registration:

1 year old: 10:00 am
2 years old: 10:20 am
3 years old: 10:40 am
4 years old: 11:00 am
5-6 years old: 11:20 am
7-8 years old: 11:40 am
9-10 years old: 12:00 pm
