Cal’s “Big Game” Cable Car Rally to Union Square | SF

On the Monday of Big Game Week, the Cal Spirit Groups and the University of California Marching Band take over a cable car line in San Francisco. Rally Committee members hold the California Banner outside one of the cars as it goes up the streets and is cheered on by Cal alumni and fans in the city.

The rally begins around 11am at Ghirardelli Square and concludes at Union Square around Noon in downtown San Francisco. It is one of the most unique rallies conducted by the UC Rally Committee all year.
