“Black Comics Matter” will teach aspiring creators of color the basics of creating comics and character design, the history of Black representation in comics and cartoons, and methods for channeling the Black experience through story and metaphor.

Black artists of the future, ages 8-18! Join the Cartoon Art Museum for a free ONLINE monthly workshop series from 11 am-12:30 pm Pacific Time starting June 27th with cartoonist Louis Stokes entitled “Black Comics Matter!” RSVP now!
