Saturday, March 7, 2020 | 11 am – 6 pm
1753 Carroll Avenue at 3rd Street, SF (Bayview)
FREE, but bring along some cash for food purchases

The event has become a well-rounded festival with food booths, vendors, live entertainment, fun for kids, cookbooks, and the ever-popular cooking contest. If you want some “down home” southern soul food cookin’, don’t miss the 40th Anniversary of the Black Cuisine Festival.

2020 Black Cuisine Festival

  • Live Entertainment featuring Grand Theft Reunion (feat. Larry White, former of the Whispers), The Seastrunk Brothers and performance by local Bay Area bands.
  • Some of the offerings include: fried chicken, catfish, oxtails, ribs, links, black-eyed peas, red beans and rice, greens, yams, mac & cheese, cornbread, sweet potato pie, peach cobbler, pound cake and other soulful delights–all of which will be sure to rival mama and grandmas’ down-home cooking.
