A 1989 experimental 1989 documentary by Marlon Riggs. The film intercuts footage of Essex Hemphill reciting his poetry, Riggs telling the story of his growing up, scenes of men in social intercourse, dance and various comic riffs.

Screening strarts at 4:30pm with free dinner. Film starts at 5pm.
