After a sold out debut, the San Francisco Neo Futurists bring back The Blackest Wrench, a one night only Juneteenth edition of The Infinite Wrench, featuring an all Black cast of Neo Futurists.
The show delivers 30 original plays in 60 minutes. This is not improv. Each piece is written by the ensemble and performed as themselves, creating a rapid fire collage of moments that are funny, intimate, confrontational, surprising, and deeply personal.
Some plays last seconds. Some stretch longer. No two are alike, and all of them are real. The result is a live experience that moves fast but lands hard, celebrating Black identity and beyond.

The Blackest Wrench is a special edition of the SF Neo Futurists’ critically acclaimed weekly show The Infinite Wrench. Since 2013, the ensemble has created over 4,000 original short plays and has been named one of the “22 San Francisco things everyone must do” by the San Francisco Chronicle. They have also won Best Theater Company multiple times in the SF Bay Guardian Best of the Bay Readers Poll.
