The Blue Man Casting Team is constantly exploring new ways to connect with dynamic performers. Being a part of Blue Man Group is unlike any other gig. They accept submissions all year with a long, formal process. But there’s also a free casting call coming up right in the city.

Blue Man Group Casting Call: If you think you have the right combination of talent, charisma and energy, they invite you to dig deeper and explore the world of Blue Man Group. There may be a place in it for you.
— ACT Studios: 30 Grant Ave, 8th Floor, SF
— Open casting call June 1, 2011 – 10 am to 4 pm.
– Casting call is for Blue Men (or women) performers only… (as opposed to musician tryouts)

Requirements:
Before you go, you should know there are certain unavoidable requirements to be considered.

• 5’10”-6’1”
• Athletic build
• Solid percussion/drum skills or strong musical background
• Excellent acting skills – the ability to communicate honestly within the dramatic circumstance and the ability to express emotions and communicate non-verbally
• Open to exploring an alternative acting style
• Able to let your ego go and embrace a collaborative working environment
• Dynamic, charismatic personality
• Open-minded
• Willing to travel and /or relocate
