The Nitecaps Blues Band was originally formed in 2001, guided by a passion for the masters of the old school blues era. We generally work as a five piece ensemble, 2 guitars, drums, bass and harmonica, all contributing to the vocals.

The goal has always been to keep true, within reason and realty, to the sound and feel of artists such as Little Walter, Gatemouth Brown, the 3 Kings, Paul Butterfield and many more of the originators of this uniquely, American roots music. Artists like Eric Clapton, SRV, Robert Cray and Little Charlie & the Nitecats, who brought us the next generation of blues have become favorites for us also. We have added some original material to the mix for glances into our own expression of this nearly lost art form. We hope to help keep the blues alive and have fun doing it.
