The event includes a cactus petting zoo, interpretive exhibits on ethnobotany, and a series of garden talks throughout the day. Families can enjoy hands-on activities like painting with oak gall ink and creating nature prints. RSVP is required to attend, with morning and afternoon sessions available.

_Join us for a FREE fun, educational, celebration of our community! This drop-in event features: Unique vendors Delicious food. Educational organizations Informative Talks Crafts for Kids – Paint with oak gall ink or create a nature print! Cactus Petting Zoo Interpretive exhibits on our history and the ethnobotany (food, fiber and medicine) of the Garden. Free talks (seating is first-come, first-served) 10:30–11:00 – A Succulent for Every California Garden 11:30–12:00 – Getting started with Designing a Lush Dry Garden with Design Manager Molly Franson 12:30–1:00 –Big Impact, Little Fuss: Power Plants for Dry Gardens with Nursery Manager Teddy Spencer Come celebrate, learn, and connect with the amazing plants in our world! RSVP required – Please choose below a morning session 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM or afternoon session 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Admission is free all day!
