Join us for the California Symphony’s 40th Anniversary Gala hosted by Classical California’s Dianne Nicolini on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the historic Claremont Hotel in Berkeley. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, wine, auction, paddle raise, and live performances celebrating four decades of music-making. An immersive nature-inspired performance by the California Symphony will be led by Artistic & Music Director Donato Cabrera and Concertmaster Jennifer Cho, featuring works by Vivaldi and past Resident Composer Viet Cuong. We’ll toast beloved honorees Loella & Ralph Haskew and the vibrant spirit that makes this orchestra shine. Party attire encouraged — let’s celebrate in style!

For 40 years, the California Symphony has been a cultural cornerstone of Walnut Creek and greater Contra Costa County, bringing world-class music, unforgettable live performances, and accessible education for all to our community.
