Event Details

A full day of great food and wine movies presented in collaboration with the national Food Day—a classic and three Premieres— each proceeded by tastings from local food and wine producers and a surprise short film. A Free program of shorts at the Exploratorium at 11am.

Celluloid Appetizers

A program of short films featuring Susan Rockefeller’s Food for Thought, Food for Life and a selection of tasty and entertaining cinematic bites at the Exploratorium’s Kanbar Forum. Films from Lexicon of Sustainability, Real Food Media, Pes, Taste and more. Just down the street from the Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market.

  • 7:00pm El Somni (The Dream) – A 12-course meal like you’ve never seen- Roxie Theater -$14 (includes tastings)
  • 9:15pm The Ways of Wine – A famous sommelier loses his palate- Roxie Theater -$14 (includes tastings)
