Everyone is invited to view artist Cheryl Derricotte’s art series, historical photos of slavery embedded in glass, as she shares slides of her work and discusses their meaning, her technique and background research. Following her hour presentation there will be a free hands-on collage workshop, limited to 20 participants. Both take place Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the community meeting room. Workshop participation requires confirmed advance registration by emailing ischneider@cityofberkeley.info

Ms. Derricotte has exhibited her work at the Museum of the African Diaspora among other venues.
