Children’s Fairyland Presents Celebrity Storytime w/ Daveed Diggs & Rafael Casal

Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Children’s Fairyland, Oakland-born filmmakers Diggs and Casal will make a special appearance live from the park to host a fundraising effort and share sneak peeks of “Celebrity Storytime”––the start of a Digital Library that features inclusive book titles read aloud by performers that reflect the diversity and uniqueness of The Town we love.

Donors during the event will have early access to the Library. Following the fundraising sneak peek on 9/26, the plan is to launch the Library for free as a resource for families, teachers, librarians, and child-centered organizations––a magic-making companion that’s also a distance learning tool.

All proceeds raised on 9/26 will go to support the mission of Fairyland: performance, education, and youth development. Fairyland is thrilled to continue its commitment to serving the local community and the arts with this partnership.
