Event Details

As part of the AAPI Heritage Month of May, we are hosting a special film screening event with Emmy-Nominated film director James Q. Chan.

James’ first film “Bloodline” is about the famous chef Tu David Phu whose Vietnamese-Californian cuisine is unparalleled in the Bay Area. The second film “Becoming Polka Dot” is about the Chinatown’s very own fashion icon Dorothy Quock!

Director James Q. Chan will host a Q&A after the screening of the two films. We invite all AAPI activists, artists and community-minded people to come join us!
