12th Annual “Altered Barbie” Exhibit

Artists create crazy & unusual versions of Barbie for your amusement

The annual Altered Barbie Exhibition is a creative reuse art show where people transform these icons into not-so-everyday art reflecting our current society. Ken and Barbie, modern day icons, permeate every corner of our culture.

Making art from Barbie and Ken creates dialog and community where there is none.

FREE, but donations at the door are appreciated

At the 12th Annual San Francisco Altered Barbie Art Show, Barbie is on a mission to kick some long needed ass. Gather up your discarded ideologies and come to see what Barbie’s mission is. Is it to save or take over the Mission District or San Francisco or the entire USA, or the world? Is her mission to eat you, prey on you or love you? Or all three?
