2014 Autumn Moon Festival

A parade, lion dancing, belly dancers & big crowds in Chinatown

Celebrated in Asia for more than 1,000 years, the 24th Annual Autumn Moon Festival will be held in Chinatown on September 6-7, 2014.

For two days, historic Grant Avenue will be filled with arts and crafts booths, cultural exhibits, children’s activities, food, corporate sponsors, and multiple parades along historic Grant Avenue between California Street and Columbus Avenue. Festivities will continue non-stop until 6 pm daily.

  • 11 am: Opening Parade starting at California St. & Grant Ave. with lion dancing, dignitaries, and performers
  • 11:15 am: Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting with Title Sponsor AT&T
  • 11:30 am: Yau Kung Moon Lion & Dragon Dance Association
  • 12:30 pm: Sing Tao Chinese Radio featuring the Lion Dance Assn.
