A huge daytime costume party, the Castro Street Fair celebrates its 40th anniversary filling the streets of the Castro with several stages of entertainment, unique costumes, art and food.

Bring a little of your inner freak to the festivities from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Experience a full day of live music, strange opera performances, DJs, an urban cowboy and cowgirl country western dance stages. Plus there’s Castro-worthy carnival acts at Barnaby’s World of Wonderment (18th btwn Hartford and Noe) with acts like sword swallowers, burlesque dancers, glass eaters, a freak petting zoo, Bacon Babes and Bingo, entertainment from Sex & The City Live and tons more.
