Thanks to SFGate for sharing the news that a group of more than 500 bars in San Francisco are considering requiring proof of vaccine before entry.

Amid the surge in recent COVID-19 cases spurred by the persistent Delta variant and the recent indoor mask recommendations, the San Francisco Bar Owner Alliance have said they may issue a statement next week recommending that only customers who are vaccinated would be allowed in, accompanied with signage outside the participating bars.

Which bars & restaurants require proof of vaccine?

Although, nothing official has been announced yet from the alliance, some members of the alliance have already decided to take part including Vesuvio Cafe in North Beach.

See the updated list – SF Chronicle has a running list of participating bars that are requiring vaccinate cards for entry including Vesuvio, Oasis, Kon Tiki, Latin American Club and more.
