Over 90% of Marin County Eligible Residents Are Vaccinated

Thanks to ABC7 for sharing the news that Marin County has the highest vaccination rate in the state.

98% of Marin County’s eligible residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine and over 90% are fully vaccinated.

Marin County attributes some of its success to its mobile vaccination teams which targeted hot spot neighborhoods like the Canal neighborhood. The units were able to mobilize to help residents get registered and proceed through the process.

In fact, the highest vaccination rates in the county are in the county’s historically marginalized communities.  98% of Latinx residents are vaccinated in Marin.
