AMEX Gives You $50 to Shop Small
Thanks to The Points Guy for tipping us off that Amex has brought back its popular Shop Small promotion.
Typically, the Shop Small program kicks off on Small Business Saturday, which is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, encouraging customers to do their shopping with small, local businesses instead of big chain stores.
For 2020, American Express has launched it Shop Small promotion early to help out our local businesses which are struggling because of the pandemic. Card holders are eligible to receive up to $50 in statement credits when they shop at a participating local business.
To participate in Shop Small, enroll by 8/23/2020 to get a $5 statement credit after making a single purchase of $10 or more directly with any small business in the U.S. on the Shop Small Map by September 20, 2020, up to 10 times. Eligibility & terms apply.
