The Bay Area Halal Foodies (BAHF) are preparing their palates for the first-ever Halal Restaurant Week coming this December. For an entire week, restaurants that sell Halal food will be featured in an event coordinated by Halalfest, Inc, and Abbas Mohamed, the founder of the BAHF Facebook Group (7,5K+ members).

This is the first-ever restaurant week in the United States to focus solely on food that meets the standards of Halal, which is food prepared in accordance with Islamic dietary principles.

Expect deals like 10-15% off, free desserts, BOGO offers and more for restaurants in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Dublin, Berkeley and all over the Bay Area.

Plus there are 50% off deals like Halal Fried Chicken (Sunnyvale) on 12/9 for a 5 pc bucket of chicken and 50% off a family platter at Port of Peri Peri in Fremont on 12/10.

During the Halal Restaurant Week (HRW), there will be different restaurants featured on each day, with each of their special offers highlighted. Some of our featured vendors include Krusti Pizza and Pasta in San Jose, Mela Tandoori in San Francisco, Maya Halal Taqueria in Oakland, Falafel Flame in Dublin, iniBurger in Pleasanton, Kinara in San Francisco and El Halal Amigos (taco truck) in Newark.
