Thanks to ABC7 for sharing the news that Milpitas Unified School District is asking parents for help.
The high cost of living in the Bay Area has grossly affected teachers and school staff, so the school district has taken a new approach. They’ve reached out to parents with please delivered by email, “If you have a room for rent at your home and would like to share the housing opportunity with our Milpitas Unified School District educators, please fill out this Google form.”
The school staff are struggling to stay locally as the cost of housing has risen. Thankfully, the District has said 40 people have responded to their call for rooms thus far.
