Washington DC’s massive Black Lives Matter street mural inspired a nationwide trend. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser renamed the intersection at H and 16th streets “Black Lives Matter Plaza” and commissioned artists to paint “Black Lives Matter” in massive letters lining the street. Within a week, murals started popping up all across the country.

Here in The Bay, several of our cities have joined in with their own massive murals. We’ve rounded up where you can find them.

Oakland

Oakland has not one, but two Black Lives Matter murals.

Oakland’s downtown mural spans three blocks of 15th Street.

Oakland’s colorful, curving mural is located on the Lakeside Park road outside The Gardens of Lake Merritt, running from Children’s Fairyland to the Lake Merritt Boating Center.

SF’s mural stretches out over three city blocks on Fulton Street, between Webster and Octavia with a direct view of City Hall.

Berkeley

Berkeley’s mural is located between City Hall and MLK Civic Center Park.

Richmond

Richmond’s mural is in front of Richmond City Hall, on Nevin Avenue, and spans 3 blocks from 25th to 27th streets.

San Jose’s mural is across from Backesto Park on Empire and 13th streets.

Palo Alto

This colorful mural is located in front of Palo Alto City Hall, on Hamilton Ave between Ramona St. and Bryant St. 16 artists were commissioned for the mural. Each individual letter of the mural is created in their own style.

Martinez

Martinez’s city-approved mural is painted in front of the Wakefield Taylor Courthouse on Court Street (and was recently subjected to vandalism, but has since been restored).
