You are encouraged to show up at 3 pm in Walnut Creek’s Civic Park on June 1 to say Black Lives Matter. The focus will be on Black voices; you’re encouraged to show support and listen. The event will have speakers, followed by a march at 4 pm.

Please note, there’s a city-wide curfew starting at 6 pm. Also, please note, Walnut Creek officials and police are supportive of the protest, but officials are also encouraging people to avoid coming downtown. This information is a bit conflictive. Civic Center Park is located adjacent to downtown.
