There’ll be readings from Write Club SF regulars Joy Carletti, Colin McCarthy, Casey Childers, & Booksmith bookslinger Na’amen Tilahun (reading for Justin Goldman), along with appearances by editors Lindsay Muscato & Ian Belknap (Write Club’s founder). Hosted by Shipwreck emcee Amy Stephenson.

Founded in Chicago in 2010 by Ian Belknap, Write Club is a monthly literary prizefight that pits writers against each other to defend opposing ideas: Light vs. Dark, Fate vs. Free Will, etc. Write Club distinguishes itself from the live lit pack with structural elements that heighten the urgency: competition, concision, and actual stakes.
