There’s a brand new way to get to San Francisco. A new ferry route has launched from Alameda, the Alameda Seaplane ferry route.

This route provides direct weekday commute service between Alameda’s new Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal and Downtown San Francisco.

Note: Alameda riders traveling before 9:40 a.m. on weekdays now use the new Alameda Seaplane route.

The new Alameda Seaplane route provides direct ferry service between Alameda’s new Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal and Downtown San Francisco during peak commute periods. The revamped Oakland & Alameda route provides direct ferry service between Oakland and San Francisco during peak commute hours as well as midday, evening and weekend service between Oakland, the Main Street Alameda Ferry Terminal and San Francisco.

  • Peak weekday commute (before 9 a.m.): Alameda Seaplane (Harbor Bay is returning to Alameda before 3:30 p.m.)
