The 2012 CANstruction competition will be centered on the theme of the CANnes Film Festival, including replicas of scenes from King Kong, JAWS, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars and  more.

Fourteen teams spent nearly 12 hours each building their sculptures using 3,000-5,000 cans each and will be on display as a free art exhibit filling the interior atrium and long concourse of One Market from November 12-17, 2012.

The exhibit is free to view, though attendees are encouraged to bring cans of food to donate.
