CA’s Largest Vaccine Site Opening at Levi’s Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers and the County of Santa Clara have announced the creation of California’s largest vaccination site at Levi’s Stadium to facilitate the rapid rollout of COVID-19 vaccines to the residents of Santa Clara County.

The site will open on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 with the initial capacity to vaccinate 5,000 people per day, with plans to increase capacity up to 15,000 people per day as vaccine supplies increase.

Appointments are required to get a vaccine at Levi’s Stadium. Currently, appointments will be for healthcare workers and residents 65 and over.

Vaccines will be administered Tuesday through Friday between 12PM and 6:30PM, and on Saturday between 9AM and 3:30PM for those with confirmed appointments via SCCfreevax.org. Vaccines cannot be administered to those without a confirmed appointment.
