Check Out SF’s New Bruce Lee Mural in Chinatown

A huge mural was recently unveiled in an alleyway in the neighborhood of Bruce Lee’s birthplace

Last week, San Francisco’s Chinese Historical Society of America Museum and  Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon, actress Olivia Cheng, and actor Richard Ting, for the unveiling of the new Bruce Lee mural on Joice Street alley in the place of his birth—San Francisco Chinatown—to celebrate the premiere of season 3 of WARRIOR, inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee.

This mural was created by DJ Agana and Vogue and produced by Bay Area mural production company ICU Art with support from the Bruce Lee Foundation and sponsored by MAX Multicultural and Digital Innovations team.

It is a featured stop on CHSA’s upcoming augmented reality 3D walking tour of Chinatown that shares historical references and inspiration for the storyline in WARRIOR.

Stop by the Bruce Lee mural on Joice Street alley right next to CHSA Museum (965 Clay Street btwn Stockton and Powell – map) in Chinatown.

Visit the “We Are Bruce Lee” exhibition at the CHSA Museum – $12 for adults.
