Costco is Bringing Back Free Samples in June (Finally!)
All 550+ Costcos should have sampling back by end of June, plus food court seating is coming back.

Thanks to Fox Business for letting us know that sampling is coming back to most Costcos this summer.
Costco says about 170 of their 550+ locations in the U.S. will resume samples the first week of June 2021, with the rest of the stores offering samples by then end of the month.
There will be new safety measures (all samples will be prepared in smaller batches and behind plexiglass)
Will this really happen? We’ve heard this before… It was just about 1 year ago that Costco made a very similar announcement in May 2020 that they would be bringing back free samples in June 2020. But last year’s reintroduction of free samples was shelved.
Other Costco Food Updates
- Costco will add tables/seating back to their food courts in most locations by June 7th
- Soft serve ice cream will replace frozen yogurt by July 4th (Please note, the San Francisco Costco already has soft-serve ice cream)
- A “new and improved” churro should be in most stores by July 4th
