Celebrate Walt Disney’s birthday and get free admission to The Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio for their only free day of the year on December 5.

Friday, December 5, 2014 | 10 am to 6 pm
Walt Disney Family Museum, 104 Montgomery Street, SF
FREE, but tickets are required. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early.

Please Note: There is an additional fee required for the special exhibit All Aboard: A Celebration of Walt’s Trains.

2014 program includes:

Open Studio | Miniature Diorama Train | 10 am to 5 pm
Inspired by Walt Disney’s fascination with trains and miniatures—some of his most notable personal hobbies—create a display of your own interests and hobbies within a small diorama. Connect your unique creation to others’ to form a miniature diorama train that will tour through our Learning Center.

Live Animation | 10 am–noon & 1–3 pm
Enjoy live animation as our staff animators demonstrate the creative process.

Spotlight Talks | All Aboard: A Celebration of Walt’s Trains | 11 am, 1 & 3 pm
Journey through our special exhibition with a special talk conducted by a museum educator.

Film Screening | The Walt Disney Family Museum Fifth Anniversary Film | 11 am, noon, 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 pm
In celebration of The Walt Disney Family Museum’s fifth anniversary, Emmy Award®-winning filmmaker Dave Stoelk takes audiences on a fascinating journey through the creation of the museum dedicated to the man behind the magic: Walt Disney.
