The Dutch community in San Francisco invites you to celebrate Queen’s Day 2013 near the Murphy Windmill on the south end of Golden Gate Park on April 27, 2013.

Enjoy a full day free festival celebrating Golden Gate Park’s windmills, with a bike parade, live music, a free silent disco, flea market and all things dutch.

Get your fill on traditional Dutch foods like cheese, herring, pastries, liquorice and of course Dutch beer. They will have food trucks preparing fries Dutch style (it’s all in the sauce), micro pancakes, Indonesian food and snacks more.

Plus you’ll get to see the Murphy Windmill in action – a rare chance to see the windmill actually spinning.

>> Is this the Final Queen’s Day? The Queen is abdicating in 2013, so this will be the last “Queen’s Day” for a while. Starting in 2014 this event will be “King’s Day”
